Does VLC Media Player for iPad support .flac files?

VLC Media Player for iPad support .flac files, who knows? I transfered a couple of files, but they won't appear in the app. Which audio formats do VLC for Ipad support? I have also tried playing FLAC music on my iPad with no luck. It works fine on my desktop so this would be a nice feature on the mobile version. Does VLC Media Player for iPad support .flac files?
